No more bloating after meals

I had a bloated belly after every meal for years. Since I started taking these capsules, the bloating is almost completely gone. In under an hour I feel the difference. I'd never go back to life without them!

Welcome back to The Soohly Edit: an exclusive series of content creators and wellness experts to help you live better — inside and out.

This week, we welcome Anna Garcia, a creative director and entrepreneur based in NYC. Anna tells us how she manages her digestion on the most intense work days, why work stress hits her belly directly, and how Debloat + became her number one ally at the office.

This is the inspiration (and the practical hacks) you need to perform at your best at work without sacrificing your digestive wellbeing →

WORK

with Anna Garcia.

Which Soohly supplement can't be missing from your office?

Anna Garcia: I've had Soohly Debloat + in my desk drawer for months and I can't even imagine work without it anymore. On heavy meeting days I always end up eating fast and badly — and my belly feels it. Since I started taking Debloat + after meals, I spend my afternoons focused and without that heaviness that used to kill my productivity.

What does a typical day in your work life look like?

Anna Garcia: I usually start before 8 a.m. with a coffee and a quick email check. From 9 to 2 it's meetings, calls, and creative work with the team. I try to respect lunchtime — though I don't always manage it — to actually eat something real and disconnect for 30 minutes. In the afternoon I usually save the more strategic tasks and wrap up around 7 p.m. On Fridays I try to do a weekly recap to close things out with clarity.

How do you take care of your nutrition when you're working a lot?

Anna Garcia: Honestly, it's the hardest part. When I'm in "intense work mode" I tend to skip meals or grab the first thing I can find. What's helped me the most is meal prepping on Sundays for Mondays and Tuesdays, and always keeping healthy snacks in my drawer — nuts, fruit, and my Debloat + capsules. That said, when there's a work lunch or a takeout order, I don't restrict myself — I just take Debloat + after.

Does work stress affect your digestion?

Anna Garcia: A lot, and I think it's something we don't talk about enough. When I have a really intense week — big presentations, tight deadlines, lots of decisions — my belly feels it directly. I bloat more, I have more gas, my digestion slows down. It's not a coincidence: the gut and the brain are directly connected. Since I became aware of that, managing stress has also become a way of taking care of my digestion.

Stress and digestion

What do you eat on a back-to-back meeting day?

Anna Garcia: On those days I keep it simple: a big salad with protein, some fruit, and a lot of water. I avoid legumes and heavy carbs because they leave me really heavy for hours after — and I need to stay alert and focused. The key is to eat light at lunch and have a more relaxed dinner at night.

What's your ritual for disconnecting from work in the evening?

Anna Garcia: I shut down my computer at a fixed time — it's non-negotiable. Then I go on a 20-minute walk, eat dinner slowly without screens, and make a quick list of the three most important things for the next day. That helps me "close" work mentally so I'm not turning it over all night. And my skincare routine is my signal that the day is over.

Your three habits to perform better at work:

Anna Garcia: 20-minute lunchtime walks, blocking time on my calendar like it's a meeting, and my Debloat + capsules after meals so I don't spend the afternoon bloated and uncomfortable.
